Laura Burkhalter is a self-taught artist based in Switzerland, working primarily with acrylics and whose work is inspired by the beauty and nature of the ocean.

Growing up in a country without a coastline, every encounter with the sea felt special. The vastness of the ocean, its colors, movement, and atmosphere left a lasting impression on her and became a constant source of inspiration for her work.

Over the years, Laura has also spent a lot of time sailing, and being on the water has given her a deep connection to the sea. What was once a place of fascination gradually became a place that feels like home.
